IRCC uses job duties / responsibilities to determine your NOC, not job title.
Your job title is what your employer says it is. You do not change it. IRCC sees this all the time, where a job title and duties don't perfectly match with the NOC description.
IRCC reviews the NOC to make sure that you are performing skilled work; one thing they do is look to see if
(a) someone who is performing a less skilled job (NOC C,D) is trying to pass as "skilled"
(b) someone is not "downgrading" their NOC because they don't meet the language requirements of skill level O/A.
Since both NOCs are skilled, and since your language scores are good enough, they won't be worried about (a) or (b).
If you have any concerns about selecting the correct NOC, you can always include a letter of explanation about the two NOCs you considered, and why you chose the one that you did.
Thanks a lot for your opinion
can you look into my Job Description and let me know which NOC code should I go for,In my opinion my lawyer wanted to be on safer side thats why he suggested me NOC 6221. Tell me your opinion
