Does Apprenticeship counted as work experience?

Hello everyone,

Does Apprenticeship counted as work experience?
Some industries offer first year of working as apprenticeship to fresh passouts.
In this situation,can candidate get benefit of his one year work experience?

Depends on what stream of CIC you are applying for to start with...for example; FSW will consider it a work experience as long as it is min an year in the same job and you continue in the same job I believe.

CEC is a different matter but if you are not doing it as a part of your studies you should be good. Other seniors can confirm for sure.
