Does anyone's file got transferred from Buffalo to Detroit???

Hi All,

I am a June 2011 applicant and my file recently got transferred from Buffalo to Detroit. In the mail it says Detroit office will do an analysis of my application and determine whether a personal interview is required. Is this a default message from them or does that mean I will require a personal interview??? Does any senior know how long will they take again for finalizing my application????

Hello! after they receive our medical result how long will be the passport request? my file was sent to Buffalo then it was transferred to Ottawa for faster processing. Will they send my files to other place like Detroit?

Mine took 4 months to get the PPR request after the medicals. My file was processed in Buffalo and later on they transferred the file to Detroit.

For me it is more then 5 months after my medical but still i am waiting for my PPR...

Hope i get it soon..... My work permit is also getting expired on Apr end 2012... so very much tensed.

I'm also a June 2011 applicant and my file was transferred to Detroit in January... After the long weekend in February, I got my RFPR and passport request. So it shouldn't take you too long.

Apply for GCMS notes:

If you are applying it for yourself and in Canada.. you can apply under Privacy act.

If you are not in Canada, they you have to ask someone to apply it for you because they only mail documents within Canada. In this case you should apply under Access to Information Act and pay $5 for this service.
