I agree with New Yorker. They made this change before last week and then put the two status message back and I see they are back to one status message again.

its mostly because i am trying to change addresses but they still have my old address on E-cas and they seem to take 'USA' away sometime and then put it back and then take it away. lol.

My status had 2 messages on Monday. Then on monday evening there was only 1.
Now today it is back to 2 again.
I.E. 1-Centralized Intake Office Sydney (CIO-S) ELIGIBILITY REVIEW COMPLETE
2-RECEIVED BY VISA OFFICE
Its a bit confusing and I suppose amusing at the same time.

There is no confusion about these messages at all.
Rather it was confusing before because it was only having one message " In Process"
Now, they have more organized about these messages and they have provided stage by stage messages so one can understand at what stage application is.
1. 1st message shows that your initial application was received by Sydney and initial review was completed.
2. 2nd message shows that after you submitted your all documents to Buffalo office, your application is received by the Buffalo visa office and now it is pending for 2nd review.
Let me know if it sounds good to you
