Does anyone know why CEC stream is so slow from AOR of 10 May 2017

Hi People,

I applied under CEC on e-APR 11 May 2017. I have been checking various blogs and found out that CIC has slowed down the processing of CEC stream since 10 May 2017. Around 90% of the applicants having AOR prior to 10 May 2017 have received at least the medical passed status. After 10 May, very minimum CEC applicants passed medical, around 3-4%. Does anyone know anything about this?

Theyre focusing on FSW at. They'll hopefully pick back up with CEC in August. Im June, waiting myself:-/

Wondering about the same. Apparently FSW, and outland CEC applicants are getting their applications processed at the same pace as before. I guess inland offices (Ottawa/Sydney) have gotten busy with something else, whereas outland offices have been able to stay on track. I filed under CEC in June.
