Does anyone know if their DLI will be on the list?

What about St. Clair Windsor? Anyone hear anything from them?

I don’t understand why everything is so tight lipped. What’s the big deal here? How hard is it to post a list??

waiting for Seneca college for the information... but what if one's study permit is approved before 18th march but the college is not on the list
I am also waiting for Seneca College, I got information from the International Advisor that we need a travel letter. But the college didn't give me any response yet for a week

The list of DLI will come into effect at 23:59 of October 20. Ofcourse if you are landing at 00:01 of October 21 then a) thats unfortunate and b) that person should not have travelled on that date & should have travelled earlier. This is not a surprise list. They posted this notice 2 weeks ago.
It is not a surprise because of the farce of handling it. The list is going to be a surprise. It was NOT announced 18 days ago when the rules would be changed. It clearly says the rules will change "on 20th October". The 20th October is made up of 60 X24 = 1440 minutes, yet 3/4 through those 1440 minutes, it is announced the exact time of rule change to be 1 minute before 21st October, meaning in fact for 1439 minutes, the old rules applied. If someone took this before a judge, it would be thrown out - when you announce a rule change on 20th October, is should be all 1440 minutes of 20th October not 1 minute of it.

approved study permit is needed or study permit when travelling or you can be a US national or permanent residence and ask for a study permit at the border.
yes, I am a US citizen with an approval letter. That meaning I will just need to ask for a study permit at the border?

It was definitely announced 2 weeks ago. Check the archive of the page from
October 06: https://web.archive.org/web/20201006042127/https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/coronavirus-covid19/students.html The announcement is on this page.
September 26: https://web.archive.org/web/20200928061050/https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/coronavirus-covid19/students.html The announcement is NOT on this page.

It was already announced 2 weeks ago that the rules will come into effect at the exact minute of 23:59.

Just received a letter via email from York University stating that they're on the list and that students signed up for the Winter 21 semester can now travel to Toronto (when/if Study Permit is issued).
Hope it's true! They were quite silent about this, and I was nervous!
