Does a U Visa sticker need to be obtained for a new OCI

Greetings - I applied for an OCI recently. When I get my OCI booklet, Is it mandatory to submit my Canadian passport to BLS to get the U visa sticker of the OCI , prior to travelling to India on the OCI ?

Its no longer needed. OCI booklet and Canadian passport is enough to travel to India.
