Hello,

I was wondering, if someone had diagnosed and treated successfully for syphilis few years back and apply for spousal PR. Will he/she gets the PR with medical surveillance always?

I had syphilis in 2006, i treated it well enough but it will show in the blood all my life. I have given the panel doctor my old records of treatments, doctor's certificate that ''he is given the doss and treated successfully". I was wondering how will they handle my case? I don't know, will they send those papers to my in-laws? then it will be really embarrassing, please suggest..

Anyone please share your experiences please...

no, they will not send your medical report to your in-laws. It's confidential.. It's only between you, the panel physician and the embassy. If you're treated, then nothing to worry about, i guess.. ;)
