Hi, I'm having a Chinese passport, but I'm a green card holder in the US. Now I need to go to Canada for a few days on a business trip. Is there anyone who could be kind and authoritative to tell me if I need an entry visa to Canada.
You don't need a visa to enter Canada. You'll need to show your Alien Registration Card (green card) or I-551 stamp in your passport. It might be a good idea to carry both.
It's a double standard. A U.S. green card holder of any nationality can visit Canada. But a Canadian permanent resident cannot visit the U.S. without qualifying based on their citizenship/visa.
