Does a form have to be validated?

I am filing to sponsor my husband and one of the forms wont validate. I have ensured that there are no gaps in time in my husbands personal history and we have even filled it out all over again from scratch and still will not validate, it is giving me an error for my most recent travel history. I have been told to put today's date and validate, and then attach a letter explaining what happened but even if I put today's date it will not validate.

Are the dates overlapping with something else? Try using “yesterday’s” date?

The only overlapping date would be with his current job and we’ve checked the “ongoing” option for his work details. I tried several different dates and it still would not vaidate, so I just included a letter of explenation and am hoping for the best.
