We are currently in the process of me sponsoring my husband. We were wondering if after we submit the application and paperwork if he could still apply for a visitors visa while things were being processed? He has traveled to Canada before on a visitors visa but it has since expired.

The only overlapping date would be with his current job and we’ve checked the “ongoing” option for his work details. I tried several different dates and it still would not vaidate, so I just included a letter of explenation and am hoping for the best.

I am filing to sponsor my husband and one of the forms wont validate. I have ensured that there are no gaps in time in my husbands personal history and we have even filled it out all over again from scratch and still will not validate, it is giving me an error for my most recent travel history...

Thanks! I tried and it still didn't work :( I just cleared that whole section and am currently filling it in again, I might have had it in the wrong spot. Hoping that works.

I checked the ongoing option for our home address on this form and it gave me no error, and on other forms and was able to validate. Is this a problem with this specific form?

I am currently filling out the paperwork to sponsor my spouse. Last year he was granted a visitors visa to Canada. Do we use the UCI/Client ID he was given on his visitors visa documents now for the sponsorship applications? Or should I leave it blank and they will give a new one?

Thank you! Another question, on the form IMM 0008, it says to list dependants and that the applicant must list spouse or common law partner. Do I include myself (the sponsor) here or no?
