Very, very awkward score. If i am at 400, i will just go for onip. but 451? I am going to kill my self if next draw is close to mine........... :(

To be fair, does everyone with 400 or more get an invite to the OINP?
I think so. if you recreate your profile, everyone should get pt from Ontario.

well I'm having a slightly different dilemma - I cant decide if I should use my 1year 9 months experience in NOC 1123 as my primary occupation, since I've done this work over 3 years ago inside Canada.
Would i be able to use it for an FSW application?

CIC occasionally hit the glass floor of 450, so 451 has is a solid chance of being invited.

I think you should wait and I can understand that this wait can get frustrating.

In my opinion, anyone above 450 should wait for ITA instead of going for OINP.

It is very likely to be invited within the 90 days of the OINP processing time, so you would be spending CAD 1500 for no reason.

But again, this is just my opinion ;)

If you improve your score, you have a high chance of getting an ITA. But currently, there is a high probability that you might get an invite from OINP. Did you get a PT NOI from Onatrio?

Basing my assumption on past trend, it seems unlikely for the score to go below 450 anytime soon. As per the last draw the cutoff CRS score for ITA was 457. You can find the update here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/mi/index.asp?expand=mi-pr-express#mi-pr-express

In fact, we both have the same score, I thought of waiting for a direct invite, but when I got the PT NOI on Oct 8th, I applied and that decision was right for me as it never came down to 451 since I created my profile.

If you get an invite from OINP, I would suggest you keep all the documents ready and wait until 1 week to the expiry of 45 days deadline. If the scores for ITA does not go down or you do not get an ITA by then, you can send your file to OINP. Then, at least you would not miss the opportunity to apply for OINP.

Regardless of whether you use that NOC for your primary occupation, your Canadian work experience would be counted in your Expression of Interest profile as Canadian work experience, as well as FSW work experience, as long as it was within the past 10 years.

It just cannot be used to qualify for CEC.
