Hi,
I have few questions at the moment before I submit my application.

1. Job reference letter dates back when I left job 2-3- years ago and does not have the salary or duties mentioned in it. Can I show my appointment letter/offer letter and salary slips as supporting document and also mention it in my LOE? Will this work?

3. My wife will be the main applicant and I will be as dependent. Can I show proof of funds from my accounts? Can I show FD as proof?

Response:
1. From the list of documents you say you have and can submit, it appears as if none of them include the list of duties you performed in your job. Thus, there is no way for the officer assessing your application to ascertain your NOC and this will lead to problems with your eligibility.
The best way forward is to get a new letter from your ex-company providing ALL the details IRCC needs. If not you could add months to the processing time of your application (and ADR’s) or worse, rejection for not satisfying the officer with your NOC.
If you didn’t leave the company on the best of terms and are unable to get the letter from them in the required format, then get a letter from your supervision or senior colleague who still works there. This isn’t the best way to do it, but a close alternative that has worked for many others.
You can simply google search the terms ‘Express entry, missing duties’ or ‘missing responsibilities’ on this forum and see the issues faced by other applicants who failed to submit work references in the required format.
3. If you are applying as an ‘accompanying spouse’, then it may be acceptable to submit proof of funds from your account (solely owned). However, you should provide a consent letter stating that all the funds in your account are available to your spouse (as POF) to support your joint PR application.
