Hello all!

I have a question about translations. We had a meeting with an immigrant consultant, and she said we need to translate everything, including stamps.

So I have my police check which was issued and translated by my country Consulate. They translated everything but sealed it with a round blue stamp which has Russian words. Do I need to do anything with this?

Also my foreign letter of past employment is entirely in English. But once again there is a blue company stamp with Russian words which wasn't translated. Is it an issue?

Thanks!

No, you're good since the actual content of the letter is in English, and it clearly shows the name of the issuing authority.

Thanks for the answer!

What do you think about the next one:
I have a diploma which for which I have a translation done in Russia. Translation is OK but the certification part is in Russian. I mean the part where it is stated that translation is true and done by whom. With this translation I already got my WES assessment, so it was fine for them.

Do you think I should better make a new certified translation here in Canada, for example ATIO member, or use the old one?

i would suggest u to do a new one, just to be safe. I did mine with the translator`s statement in English, otherwise how they would understand what is written there... I think WES requirements might not be as strict as they use different ways of confirmation.
