Hello this Canadian translator told me that all documents: marraige certificate, police background, etc must only be translated by certified translators of Canada?

Can someone please tell me this isn't true. My wife has already submitted to me translated and notarized copies of all her documents from my country back home.

Also, this ice saleman said all other ice is poisonous, so I have to buy it all from him.

Always beware advice from people who have a monetary stake in the advice.

Official Canadian translators don't need notarization.
