Hi Everyone ,

My parents are finally flying to Canada having received their SuperVisa months ago. So quick question - what all documents should they carry with them to show to the Border Service Officers at a Canadian Airport ? Thanks !

@canuck78 Thank you so much !!

So that's it? Don't they want to see a copy of my PR card or my passport to prove the relationship with travelers etc. ?

To prove that they are parents of PR or citizen. Otherwise that may be a rule leftover from Covid restrictions when parents of citizens and PRs were on,y allowed to travel. Supervisa insurance is the one proof that is checked the most often.

The answer above seems inaccurate now. See instructions on the IRCC site https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/visit-canada/parent-grandparent-super-visa/after-apply-next-steps.html#arrive , scroll down to "Have your documents ready" and then click on the link for the words "documents you used for your super visa application (opens in a new tab)" . That list means, I think, that you need, in addition to the letter of approval, all the docs attached to the application (directly or with the letter of invitation): the letter of invitation and list of family size (answered on the application so not a separate document on the New Version), proof of host's citizenship or the like, host's paystubs as proof that minimum support requirements are met, host's birth certificate (proof of relationship), own income info if submitted, proof of medical exam, proof of medical insurance. Is that right?
If so, my question is: do you have to print all of that out, or can you open your laptop and show them? If paper is required, can you print it in black and white even though it was submitter in color?
I haven't gotten the paper letter yet, just the approval on the web, but meanwhile any guidance about this process would be much appreciated!
