I received a letter from IRCC requesting documents for my common-law partner added after the initial application.

Here are the documents they require:
- In the request letter under my UCI - IMM 0008DEP Add Deps/Dec
- In the request letter under her UCI - IMM 5669 (Schedule A), IMM5707 (Family information form), Travel History Info Form (I assume IMM5652?), Birth registration/certificate

Here are my questions:
- In IMM5707, I fill it under her name? I.e. her data, her mother / father, and mentioning me as partner? The language on the form is somewhat ambiguous. 5669 and 0008 DEP are clear enough that it is under her name.
- Should I provide travel history in free format or use the form, since they haven't mentioned an IMM number? I would prefer to do it in free form as I have traveled A LOT and filling all that out again is a nightmare.

For travel history free form should be fine. Even if there is a form and space for history, they usually say to add extra history that doesn't fit on an extra page. Anyways I think IMM5652 is something different, https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...ication/application-forms-guides/imm5652.html

For the family information form, it's a bit weird since you're the primary applicant, not your spouse. But I'm guessing that you've already filled out the info about your parents and children to IRCC in your original application, while IRCC doesn't know anything about your partner's family. Hence why it was sent under her UCI. So in that case, it does follow that it should be under her name.

On that form itself, on the third page, see https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/i...sh/kits/forms/imm5707/01-01-2023/imm5707e.pdf - it has these instructions, which seem to reinforce this idea (that she should fill it out/it should be filled out from her POV with her data):
