Documents showing the relationship with the Sponsor

Hi,

For student visa application, I wanted to know that are there any documents required to submit with the application which shows the relationship with the sponsor? If there are, can you please share the names of the documents... (like bay form etc..)

You are required to represent an affidavit with the desired content stated. An affidavit will be considered legally after it is notarized by the notary public officer. You should prove your relation with the sponsor in that affidavit. That is what's required.

Thanks for the quick reply. I have the affidavit.. I read it from some other forum that the person should also need to submit his bay form and of the sponsor as well to make the case strong. So I was just confirming that whether it makes my case strong or not.

i dont know abt it but if ur sponsor is not ur parent then ask him to put money in ur account otherwise your visa chances will be low

He is my uncle and lives in Canada,I talk to a consultant and he said to me that it would increase the chances if the money stays in his account.. since questions like where does the amount comes in such a short time will arises.. and make my case weak if he transfer it to my account.

i am here on this forum for a long time..i get admission in winter semester but i did not apply because of the same reason...your cosultant is guiding u wrong..Consult somebody else..My aunt is also living in canada and at first i also thought same but people here guide me..First of all if you show ur uncle is in canad,it also lower ur visa chance because it show family ties in canada and officer think that you will not come back after study or ur intentions are not right..and if you show money in sponsers account other than ur parents it will also lower ur chance...ask sponser to put money in ur account and dont worry abt duration of statement because affidavid of sponsor will show that he put money in ur account and also mention it in ur SOP that he is sponsoring u for study,but money should be there until u get visa..i think it will help u..in which program u get admission??

I applied in MSc Computer Science got LOA and now going to apply for visa... the consultant told me couple of things...


1. that I have to show personal bank statement of atleast 6 months, also there should be enough transactions in the account which proofs that its a running account. Otherwise it lowers the chances...

2. I have no history to prove them that from where I got this money, I can only prove it if I have some sort of a business or one of my parents is earning that much of amount. Otherwise the chances are high that officer will reject it because of no/less authentication of the money.

So the best possible option in these circumstances (according to the consultant) is that I will provide the affidavit of financial support and bank statement of the sponsor.
According to him this is the best option.....

i think your consultant is guiding you wrong...Ask a separate question in this forum and you will know everything...Yes the requirement is 6 months of fixed account but if you put money in ur account just before applying and show where does this money came it will be Ok.like you show you sold some property by showing stamp paper etc.Secondly your account should be fixed not running..I already told u abt sponsorship issue and ur uncle abroad issue...I think u r consulting some wrong guy who does not know anything abt canada visa

B-Form is required for minors.

I personally think if we are showing a bank statement of our own account then what is the point of showing financial affidavit from the sponsor.

If the sponsors are parents, is it necessary to show affidavit or just their bank statements will suffice ?

Whatever the case is, the sponsor is responsible to pay the fees. I would suggest you to don't follow the consultant blindly and proceed in applying for the visa without wasting more time.
