Documents required to be notarized

Hi ,

I seen old posts regarding the same question and saw varied answers too.

Are all documents required to be notarized. I am sending originals as the ones mentioned in the checkl list.
all others are copies . Do i need to notarize all the copies.

Copies :
1. 8 semesters mark list and degree certificate
2. Pay slips , IT tax payment receipts , employment letter , letter of reference
3. Passport copy
4. Birth certificate
5. Bank Statement , FD receipt

Please help in answering them , am totally confused.

You must provide a notarized copy for every document which you send as a copy and which is originally not in English or French.
If your document is originally in English or French, you can either send an original or provide a plain photocopy of it.
If your document is originally in other language than English or French, you can either send an original+official translation(with affidavit) or a notarized copy + official translation(with affidavit)

All my documents original are in english . So i dont require Notarization at all.
Between , am applying from india . I am assuming this still holds good .

RomanSPb, I see you filed your application last month , did your application go through ? and which country are you applying from ?

As already answered, only simple photocopies of the documents in English need to be sent (irrespective of the country).

But don't send originals other than asked for (like IELTS, ECA, PCC), because CIC is not going to return those.
