Documents Received Letter From London

Can anyone help..... We have applied for permanent residence in Canada through the federal skilled worker class through the centralized intake office in Sydney Canada.
We have received our initial email from Canada on 16/03/10 and sent all our documentation to the London office which was received on 8/04/10 as taken from the web site.

We are still awaiting the letter of receipt and processing......my sister received hers with in 5 weeks we are on 8 weeks now and getting a bit worried any advice would be great thanks.

The normal time has exceeded. However, any time you can expect a communication from CHC. Unfortunately for some cases there can be delays. Try to be patient. Good luck!!,

The waiting is the hardest thing. I keep thinking that there is something wrong even though i think its all in order but you never know it could be lost in the post.

I did not get a letter of receipt for the documents I sent them. I didn't even get a receipt when I sent my medical results. I am already in the last leg of the wait, I have already sent my passport for visa stamping.

London CHC is very inconsistent when it comes to updates. Even with people having the same timelines, some will be notified of each and every advance in the application and some people will be left in the dark until they ask for the passports.

If it will make you more at ease, you can send them a case specific enquiry through email. I have done this twice and they responded each time. But if your case is within the normal time limits, they will not reply to your email.

firstly concratulations on your application,and at least you experienced the same as we are going through and all though not good for either of us. It has put my mind at rest that it isn't a one of case and that hopefully everything is going along smoothly.
