Hello guys

Can you please tell me what questions does the immigration officer asks at the airport and what documents do I need to show them? Also will I need to show them all the bank statements? Because I gave them to CIC when I was applying for visa. I'll now need to ask for them again from the bank as I didn't made any copy. :/

Prepare to enter Canada

You can prepare for your arrival in Canada by making sure that you:
· obtain all of the recommended supporting documents and carry them with you when travelling:
 Valid Passport;
 Letter of Introduction from the Visa Office that you received when your Study Permit was
approved OR Study Permit (if required);
 Valid Temporary Resident Visa (if required);
 Valid Electronic Travel Authorization (if required);
 Proof that you have enough money to support yourself during your stay in Canada;
 Proof of Acceptance or Enrolment

I'm confused about this part as well.. Are we supposed to show bank statements of the sponsor again or what.

Nope, They rarely ask any questions. One you get to the immigration counter, You'll be asked to wait in a queue with a bunch of other new students. You guys will be taken to a waiting room with a lot of interview cubicles on the side. He'll just ask you a few simple questions regarding your stay and then he'll print out your study permit. It'll just take 10 minutes.

Well I was asked to show proof of financial when I was there and I have already opened up a Canadian Bank account and gotten statements from them before I entered Canada so it wasn't a problem for me to not show them.

How much did you show? I thought I'd open a bank account there after landing and carry sufficient cash until then, and just show my sponsors bank statements

Then again I can't even carry too much cash because apparently I could be fined otherwise
