Documents needed for TRV for short term study

My TRV got rejected today due to insufficient docs . reasons stated were:
1.You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada.
2.Purpose of visit
3.Limited employment prospects in ur country.
4.Your current employment situation
5.I am not satisfied that you have sufficient funds.

My case is as follows. I have just completed my MBA in May and will be joining my Dads business. He is a very well established businessman. He will be sponsoring my trip and the short term course that I will be attending in Canada. Below were the documents that I submitted:
1.Dads business license
2.His personal bank account statement
3.His tax papers
4.Letter of Acceptance from my college
5.proof of payment of the 1st Installment of fees
6.Homestay proof (Email stating from landlord in Canada that I will be using her homestay services).
7.One way ticket

As per my understanding I have not submitted complete and relavent documents. I am currently not employed and since my trip will be sponsored by my dad what are the docs that i need to send. As per my assumptions to satisfy the rejection reasons I need:
1. You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada - Return ticket to be booked
2.Purpose of visit - All communication emails from college and the Letter of Acceptance and the payment invoice from college.
3.Limited employment prospects in ur country - Show that im employed in my dads business
4.Your current employment situation
5.I am not satisfied that you have sufficient funds - personal and business account statements of dad, Property papers of dad

Also do I need to include a letter stating that my parents are sponsoring my study and trip and will be bearing all the expenses?
Secondly, my main purpose of pursuing this course is to develop my skills and help expand my dads line of businesses.

Please help..need some advice desperately. .Thank u

This could help.

The communications serves of no purpose.

This is irrelevant.

Is your dad travelling? If not then why would what your dad have would be of importance? Unless you are a minor then you have to show enough funds for yourself not coming from anyone else (not even your dad).

Thank you for ur response. I have just completed My MBA in May and I have been part of my Dads business since June..i.e I am an employee of the company. Secondly he is sending me to Canada for getting a certification in Confectionary since he wants to expand his line of business and wants me to handle the Confectionary part. So i need to get certified. He will be transfering 10000CAD from his business in my account for the purpose of staying and also I have made the 1st Installment fee payment. In this case do I need to show a sponsorship letter from the business and my account statement? Also to show that the business has sufficient funds to pay for my trip i have tax business tax papers as well..what should i do in this case?

You should assume it's going to be difficult to explain to CIC why you want to attend a Confectionary course after an MBA. You'll need to include a letter that explains this very clearly.

It has to be YOUR money, no sponsorship, no company, no dad. Also no recent large deposits.

What is the nationality of your passport? Why Canada?

I am from India. I am into confectionary and i want to get a certification for the same. I came across this college in Canada that was offering a short term course for international students. The college told me that all their students come on a visit visa since its a course for 4months. I don't see any reason why the visa should be refused if im going there for short term studies as well as the CIC website states that a visit visa is needed for courses less than 6 months. Is it that Canadian government doesn't encourage short term studies? Inspite of being from a wealthy n self sufficient family and having my own family business in my home country y would the visa officers even think that im interested to stay back in Canada.if I have just passed out form college how am I to show employment. And if my dad is ready to bear all the expenses then i wonder whats the problem here.

No need to encourage them, they are in full demand. Also doing such a long travel for a certification in a subject Canada is not lead and that other countries nearer to India give is another thing that is not that frequent.

All these are things you have to fully explain and convince CIC of the authenticity of your intentions.

All visitors from any visa needed countries are believed to want to illegally immigrate unless proven otherwise. That is the whole point of a VISA.

Letter of employment?

Hmm wihch BTW I didn't read you submitted in your application. You need a letter from your company (not your dad even though he is head) stating the purpose of this visit, why it is good for the company, why Canada, why that program, that this is given to you as a part of your training (for example), the date you started working there, why you were chosen over other employees, when are you expected to come back as well as your salary and a detailed itinerary (when are you leaving, when are you coming back). If there are any penalties for you if you don't come back then those can help as well.

As I explained previously, it has to be YOUR money. From CICs' point of view a guy which has to work for his dad because there is lack of employment, with no money of his own and that just finished his studies is a high risk immigrant.

So please stop the "my dad" argument, it is of no use, CIC made it clear in their refusal.

So are you trying to say that people who have family run business aren't allowed to visit Canada and they have to be "Employed" with another company?

Not at all.

Please don't try to read between lines, what is written should be taken literally.
