Could any one advice on the documents to be shown during landing. We are family of four landing together.

Also I'm carrying a cashiers check (from US and in US$) to show as prrof of funds. Is it okay.
Any other tips are welcome.

Thanks,
Jay

Hi,

While landing you need to carry in hand ( not in the checked baggage) the original CPR for you and family.
*Of course you may have the passports with you.
*The cheque or draft or cash.
* Goods to follow form ( Form B4a) if you have sent some of your house hold items by cargo shipment.

Also keep a note of the following on a piece of paper:

* Your residencial address in Canada ( where you are going to stay)
* Your contact telephone number if any.

These can be changed accordingly.

To enter Canada, by air or sea, you must have a current passport and either a valid travel document or a valid visa.
Upon arrival, you will need to present the following documents to the Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA):
CBSA Declaration Card (Form E311 to be provided by airline); and
A Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) for you, and each of your dependants travelling with you (if
applicable)
Your passport and a valid visa, a valid travel document or evidence as to why neither is required

Good luck
Benny
