Documents for spouse

Dear Seniors

I had filed my application in May 2010 and had received OK from CIO on 29th september. I submitted my final package to New Delhi AO on 3rd Jan 2011. Right now its status has changed to "In process". My query is that i am getting married in August and before that if my medical comes, then how will i take my spouse with me. Also, what is the list of documents required for my spouse. I really need a comprehensive information and would be thankful if somebody can guide me on this.

This is Qorax Sir's reply:

"1. As u get married u r required to add ur spouse to ur apps imdtly.
2. Landing w/out doing the foregoing is misrepresentation, can get u a ban of 2-yrs. and difficulty in fetching ur spouse,
3. Send all the docs+forms+processing fees for ur spouse to ur VO,
4. Then wait for her meds call.
5. The entire process should be over in 3-4 months."

A revised passport having spouse name, marriage and engagement pics, marriage certificate are supporting docs you can submit alongwth ur appln

Once u get married, update about ur changed status to the VO, they will guide you on the same

This doc list is for people with spouse from New Delhi VO. Please correlate with your VO specific requirements.

Save the above img on ur desktop by right clicking and selecting "Save Picture as" .......you won't have to strain ur eyes
