Documents for PRTD

We did our landing on 16-Sep-17 and were back in India in Oct. We have applied for PRTD on 24-Oct-17 and still awaiting. We need to travel back on 2-Dec. Have attached the flight tickets. I was expecting it to be processed in 1 week but it seems to be taking more time.

We apply for PRTD from our home/host country, not when we are still in Canada.

I just had one entry in that. Employment for the period between my landing date to current.

cool. i was in canada only for about 10 days and i was unemployed. so i will mention that and after that i came to india so i will mention vacation till the date i apply. will that be fine?

PRTD processing time is 1-3 weeks in India. I applied for PRTD on 13 July and got mail for passport on 27 July.
Documents I had attached to PRTD application form were
- COPR
- SIN
- bank statement

I got my and my son's passport back in around 18 working days and my wife's in 25 working days. I had got my PR card during the application and had submitted the withdrawal application but we got the passports with the PRTD. I am not sure if the withdrawal application was considered. On phone the India vfs informed that the PRTD application is a 25 working day process.

I submitted the application on 23rd and got an update today that my processed passport was dispatched to visa application center. Hoping to collect the passport before end of this week.
