Hello wise people,

Got a few questions regarding the documents, card required etc during RQ and/or interview.

The document checklist during the citizenship application is pretty straight forward I suppose.

-I can use my BC ID photocopy for personal identification for the citizenship application right? I do not have a driver's license (I know...)

- I have read mentions where sometimes tenancy/rental agreement etc will be asked. I have the initial tenancy agreement. The next renewal of tenancy etc was done through just email communications for which I have the records. Will this suffice ?

- What is this 'Health Card' being refferred to ? is it the MSP card ? I do not have one, simply because I have not applied for one yet. My health insurance is covered by work which for me was suffice? Can I use something other than the 'Health Card'. I can apply for 'Health Card' if it is absolutely necessary

-Can a Canadian Credit Card(Capital One) used as proof of identy(second piece) during the interview. My first one will be the BC ID or Passport.

I got my TF for the eligibility period. I can also get past and present employer letters.

What else am I missing? Please advice.

Also wished this forum has some sort of donate button. Damn, this forum is useful and quite helpful.

Thank you all for all your help/advice.

Yes:)

To be safe, take the proof of the actual payment of rent such as bank statements or receipt given by the landloard:)

Yes, it refers to the the health card issued by the province of BC. Private insurance cards may not be accepted. Without much ado, apply for health card:)

Not a good idea to present your credit card:(; Passport + BC ID would satisfy the 2-id requirement, apply for the health card to be 100% safe.

You can take pay stubs as well:)

First of all, you rock. Thank you for taking some time and color-tagging the responses.

Yes, I will get the bank statements from my bank that has the cheques which has "Rent" written on the cheque and email communications just in case.

Working on it as I type this :). The health card is being used as identification right? not like can this candidate afford provincial health? Because then it would be living in Canada for 7+ years without provincial health.

Noted. Will take Passport, BC ID and Health Card.

I dont have the past employers pay stub. I can get letters from them. I have the present employer pay stubs going back atleast a year hopefully.
