Document needed after landing procedure is done?

Dear All,

I just would like to get an advise from anyone in here who might know the answer to our inquiry. This is the query, we are based in Dubai, UAE and we have had done our landing procedure last Dec 16, 2015 in Vancouver and back in Dubai by Jan 2, 2016. We remember that the Canadian Border Services Officer mentioned to us that because we are going back to UAE we need to secure a document coming from Canadian Embassy in Abu Dhabi before we can go back again to Canada (planning by Aug 2016, for good) when we plan to transfer for good. Is there anyone here who have the same experience, we want to know what document it is that we need to have first. We asked the Abu Dhabi office by email because they don't entertain any phone query, but to no avail.

I hope someone had also experience this and can give us an advice.

You need to have either PR card or PR Travel Document to enter canada. PRTD I think is valid only for 1 time entry, check CIC website on how to enter canada without PR card

We process our PR there in Vancouver and it will be mailed to us by my brother once they received it, thanks

So if we will move for good this August there will be no problem
