We (finally!) received the letter from CIC that my parents application is proceeding. We had applied for sponsorship back in 2010.
However, I have a couple of concerns/questions.
On the Option C printout it says to submit Option C's for the tax year you submitted in the original sponsorship application, and for hte year before you submitted the application. So really, they want 2009 and 2010 even though it is now 2014??
Also, on the second half of the check list which is hte application checklist for my parents we have items 1-3 which are forms IMM 0008, IMM 0008DEP (if applicable), IMM 5669. Then we have Items 8 -- Identity and Civil Status documents, 9 -- Proof of dependent children, 10 -- Photo requirements, 11 - where to mail application.
then we look at the last sheet and Items 8 to 11 are repeated again.
I called CIC and after much waiting got through, and they just said...oh just submit what we have printed....I said...but items 4-7 are missing and 8-11 are repeated twice. And he just said something about this checklist being custom printed to show only the times needed so just submit what is on the list....which we will do....but it seems weird that we would be missing items 4-7.
Should I be worried??
