Hi, my birth certificate was approved abroad, but there is no phone number of notary. Do you think it is important to have it?

Notarized documents will not have phone number,

you just need the original color ink stamp/seal of the notary, nothing else.

be cool

Hey, I have similar kind of question. I did Notary attestation of my education and other records in 2015 (and date it mentioned on the papers). I am currently not residing my own country, do I have to attest the documents again ?

as far as the date is concerned, it's definately questionable.

many times i read the same on internet and spoken to some known advocates that the documents attested without date are valid for lifetime and with date are for the period of one year.

hope this will help you.

doesn't matter which country you belong, attested documents are attested unless they specify the same country attestation required.

I want to know if I can use it because in Documents check list Police certificate is valid for one year, or I have to issue new one ??

MALDIVES also previously issuing for 3 months, now they will give you for one year, so ask the police department, you need a certificate with 1 year validity.

Try , maybe you will get.

Saudi also you can request.

@razi_zaheer

Since I was out of my home country , I had submitted documented that were notarized 1.5 years back. My wife had submitted documents that were notarized 8 months back. All of our documents were accepted by MIDI.

Few acquaintances in this forum were not in their home country, got their documents notarized from home country and received them via courier. This was done after receving document checklist.These people also did not face any issue.

It appears that all that MIDI cares about is that if your documents are notarized or not irrespective of when they were notarized.

@abnormal_dream

You are OK if you did not visit your home country after Police Certificate was issued.

@aappnov2014 & @razi,
if i am not wrong, than date and validity of notarised document is of no problem. it is valid for lifelong.
matter is, in india notary personal have only few years validity and they need to renew their license. (just general info)

1 IMPORTANT thing to know is that, the notarised copy should be done from the same country as the country of document origin.
i.e., if document is of some canadian institute, than notary should be done by some canadian personal only and not american or other personal.
I do not remember where i had read this info, but my speculated idea, is that, personal from 1 country may not understand 2nd country's system and language.
