thanks alot for the prompt reply
but that link is not working and even my relatives in canada are telling the same thing but they are not sure about the details as some indian doctor told them and that doctor has returned to india after collecting his pr card so no contact with that fellow now
do you have any idea what kind of hospital jobs we can have over there

When you come to Canada be prepared to face reality that it will take some time before we can practice as physicians. Its a looong process but take it one step at a time and we'll get there. I suggest that you get into any health care related work to familiarize yourself with the health care system, the hospital set-up and network with doctors and other healthcare professionals. Canada is in need of doctors. But almost all of the doctors here are also once immigrants like us.

this is what i was asking that to get into the system is very difficult so what hospital jobs we can think of getting because it will be few years before we get into some residency position
or we should be trying for job in private hospitals

But one thing i noticed that all the timline info is haphazard, I have tried to organize that information although this list is incomplete and so much data missing, so plz all members of this thread paste info accordingly so this list can be updated and maintained

Sorry for Delay.
Actually I am also in dark as of you. One of my friend landed in April 2010 now working as assistant to a Doctor in a School, another friend who landed on January 2009 worked for some time in a Hospital his duty was to carry patient file from one word to another ward and also from one doctor to another.

atleast that is still better than filling petrol on petrol pump
atleast you are able to observe a doctor and by passive learning we will be able to adjust in the system early whenever we will get our chance and chance favours a prepared mind

I am busy to conduct medical camps in remote areas of Gilgit/Baltistan (*Ishkoman and Yasin valley).This is organised by HUMANITY FIRST(NGO).People of this area are in misreable condition .Hopefully I would celebrate Eid in Gilgit among the affectees moreover my family is with me and serving the people under umbrella of HUMANITY FIRST.
