Hello experts! My birth certificate records my DOB as Dec 25, 1992. However, during my school enrollment, it was documented as Feb 25, 1992, to meet the minimum age requirement for School Enrolment in India. This adjusted date( Feb 25) has been consistently used in all subsequent official documents, including my passport, adhar, prior visas, Work permit, Canada DL, and academic certificates. It's not possible to change DOB in Birth certificate. I see birth certificate is mandatory for Non EE PR process. Could you please advise what should I do? If anyone has gone through similar process or know any details, kindly guide me.

They'll consider the official birth certificate as document and information

This is a common concern for individuals with discrepancies between their birth certificate and other official documents. Here is how you might address it when applying for a non-Express Entry (non-EE) Permanent Residence (PR) process in Canada:

1. Understand IRCC Requirements
The Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) typically requires the following:
A birth certificate as proof of date of birth.
If unavailable, a statutory declaration or affidavit explaining the discrepancy, along with secondary evidence (e.g., school records, passport, etc.).

2. Submit an Explanation with Supporting Documents
Since your school and subsequent records use the adjusted date of birth:
Affidavit/Statutory Declaration: Prepare a legal document explaining the discrepancy. Clearly state the reasons (e.g., minimum age requirement) and affirm the consistency of your documents with the adjusted date.

Secondary Evidence: Include a notarized copy of the following:
Pass port
Aadhaar card
Academic records
Work permits/visas
Canada Drivers License

3. Birth Certificate Submission
Submit the original birth certificate showing the actual date of birth (Dec 25, 1992).
Along with it, provide your affidavit explaining the use of the adjusted date (Feb 25, 1992) and mention its widespread use in all subsequent records.
