Have You Sent Your Citizenship Application?I'm just Curious because Were on the same City and This Time, it's my Wife and Daughter's Turn for the Citizenship, Were Kinda Anxious too, To When They'll receive a response from IRCC they sent it July 17, 2017 and Received July 20,2017 and Up to now, August 16,2017 We Haven't Receive any Email to confirm their Status.

I have questions regarding finger prints. Is CIC asking everyone for FP or its just in case of some applicants?
And does FP have to be done from the residing city only? I am travelling to Toronto for 2 months from september to november. If I get FP request in that time period, can i get FP done from Toronto?

Really! Im following couple of more threads and there saskatoon applicants are mentioning about FP. May be those are old posts.

Are you serious? Citizenship application takes more than 12 months?
I saw people normally taking 6-9 months from submit application until the ceremony. So my expectation would be within 12 months is still reasonable.

Not everybody has to do fingerprints. Sometimes there is a criminal record in the system from somebody who has the same name. That is when they call you in. I am pretty sure it doesn't matter where you do them as long as it is at an official place.

I did not sent a request to extend test date.
I informed them via the IRCC web form about my upcoming travels and this was fine. It took them 6 weeks to acknowledge it though.
