Form IMM 5490 page 6 question 30: Do you receive financial support from your sponsor?

Well, we live together, and have been living together for some time, and I (the sponsor) provide the money for everything. But I think they mean, 'does he send you money every month' or something like that, which I have never done. So how should I answer this? If 'yes', then how do I answer 'how much' and 'how often' ?

This is the situation for us too. We answered YES and in how much and how often we put N/A and N/A. The we provided an explanation on a separate sheet of paper.

Good question. My husband is living with me for now, but before we lived together he did not support me, because I did not want to take money from him while we were only dating/engaged. He returns to Canada next month, I guess we should talk about things like this! :

Good question I wrote no and explained in a piece of paper! I do not receive money because we both work but I said that in case we needed support we will have it from each other! I think the best thing its explain when your situation does not fit a yes or not answer. Good Luck
