I just read that WES requires you to send the documents in an envelop that is signed and sealed by the issuing organization, as i understand my university. Is that really mandatory?
yes it is ... i did that and it worked without any issue....sunshinejan said:I just read that WES requires you to send the documents in an envelop that is signed and sealed by the issuing organization, as i understand my university. Is that really mandatory?
But then what about the apostiles and notary translations? I mean, i have to translate some docs and also put apostile on all of the documents and then only take them to the university to have them sign and stamp the envelop??Jkal said:Yes. It is mandatory. Either your university has to send it directly; or you can get it sealed and stamped envelope from university and send it by urself. If WES finds that it is not sealed/stamped, you will not get ECA
Did that for my wife - take transcripts, translate them, bring back to the university and then seal the envelope over there... then take the envelope and send it via Fedex or some other courier...sunshinejan said:But then what about the apostiles and notary translations? WES requirements vary depending on the country where your University/institution is located.sunshinejan said:But then what about the apostiles and notary translations? Thank you so much. Don't you have to put apostile on the transcripts and the diploma? I mean in your country.boske83 said:Did that for my wife - take transcripts, translate them, bring back to the university and then seal the envelope over there... then take the envelope and send it via Fedex or some other courier...
for me - my degree and transcripts are in my native language + english language in original, so did not have that type of issue...
well - transcripts has the stamps from university on it... it is called diploma supplement here... after that - translator does his work, and the you photocopy both original and translation and send to university to pack it up and seal it with stamp and signature... please make sure you do not include original documents since they will be thrown in garbage after processing - only forms from WES should be original, nothing else...sunshinejan said:Thank you so much.
