Just for reference:

Passport delivered to Fort Erie - April, 20.
Passport went back in Fort Erie - June, 08.
Passport delivered to Toronto - June, 09, visa issued

I sent my application on April 20th too, but to Buffalo not FE T_T
Maybe I should have sent it to FE then I could get it back on the same day as you.

Buffalo consulate received my visa on April 22nd

IN-PERSON WALK IN APPOINTMENTS FOR SINGLE_ENTRY TRV FOR MY PARENTS AT BUFFALO.

My parents are planning to visit Canada to see Toronto during August 2011. In the past, we appeared in person at the Buffalo Consulate and submitted the visitor visa application and we received the approval on the same day. Since we are flying from Florida and I am in the process of booking airline tickets to Buffalo, I want to make sure that timeline is sufficient. Will they be able to process the visa applications during walk-in hours on the same day? If not, please advise us about the processing time frame for walk-in appointments. Thanks very much.
