Hi, i plan to do a PNP but my confusion is , how do IRCC know my trade? is it from WES evaluation as well?

As i understand WES, i suppose it only evaluates academic qualifications and not trades.

Please kindly correct me where i am wrong

ECA evaluations are for academic programs (diploma or degree). What trade are you wanting assessed? Some trades may have an education component like electrician and you get your college diploma assessed. But that is for education only and you are licensed through provincial trade department or red seal.

My wife is a tailor and she has 2 or more years of experience and she has a certificate for that. However, she has second-class upper as a Bachelor of Agriculture.

She has since practised as a tailor and then i would like that to be considered for PNP.

Maybe the question should be, How does PNP work?

Where or how do I tell IRCC, the candidate is a Tailor

So she needs ECA for Bachelors and certificate. Not sure if certificate will be equivalent to Canadian program.

Each province has a PNP program so you need to research each province and see if you are even eligible based on age, skill, education, language and funds. Then see if her NOC is even selected with draws. If asking about PNPs then assume she is eligible for Express Entry as most programs that don’t require a job offer are through Express Entry. What are her IELTS scores?
