anyway I have someone who can look after them in CIC building !

But do we need to take them with us ??
They already in school

No , you shouldn't. Actually the invitation letter mentions that you should not take kids with you because they will not be able to accompany you into the test/interview rooms.

One of my friend got a small issue. He didn't bring his son for the Test/Interview and he forgot to bring his son's Birth Certificate. When the Interviewer asked about his BC he said he forgot and it doesn't affect his application. Now himself, his wife and his son are Canadians. So please bring all the original documents which you have sent along with your Citizenship Application and you should be fine. Good Luck

I didn't take my kids but took their documents just in case. They didn't ask to see the kids documents.
