It seems from the guide that we only send certified copies if there is translation. In case there is no translation, do we send certified copies
 
"The document checklist states to send photocopies of documents unless otherwise specified, and that the documents must be in either English or French. As long as your documents meet the language requirements, photocopies are fine. If CIC wants a photocopy notarized, it will either be specified as such on the checklist, or it they will separately contact you to request it." (c) FAQ
