Do we really Need Consultant?

I gave my case to one very famous consulting service from India 2 months agoand just wanted to check with few people who used their services to see whether I made right choice or not.

consultant know as representitive, its ok if they are certified by CIO canada immigration. some are liar but if you know consultant license number and he/she certified consultant then its fine with your applications. I gave my application also to one attorney and my brother is also by him, my brother is going to submit his madical now..

You don't have to, waste of money.

In my case I don't have a consultant, I personally brought my forms, etc. to the embassy or I used courier.

no need for a consultant. just read the instructions really carefully and read thru the forums here. Consultants only gives some level of support.

i did my self and i have already submitted my medical.

I have done all things by myself and all inforamtion are available on website www.cic.gc.ca.

Even you can use such type of forums.

I got my visa last week without hire any consultant. But, you need to send your full application with proper documentation.

It is a pure personal choice. Everyone's situation is different, everyone's case is different. Also, everyone's time-at-hand is different too. Said that, as most others dwelled above, in today's world u don't need a consultant / imgr lawyer. The www is a boon, u can get all info thru it, the CIC site shall assist u big time and yes, forums like these are definitely encouraging to go solo.

But, there ar also ppl like me who might find a way shortage in personal time management, might be due to our quest at filling-up our bread basket, or due to other reasons, wherein a consultant is our only reconning. I paid that $ 4,000/- and thereon, it was his baby; from filing till landing & documentation / job-search thereon stands his forte. But yes, we need to find a genuine one at that. And not all are sincere to our cause, except for their pocket.

As someone above sated, it is definitely a must to check the consultant's SCCI Listing. In India there are quite a few genuine ones. One from Chd is fab, the aka Worldwide... U may like to get in touch with them.
