do we need to wait for PR card to begin working in Canada?

this is a question for future reference - we haven't received DM yet! i understand once we get DM, we then need to wait for COPR before the applicant can land. but once the applicant lands, can they begin working immediately or do they need to wait for PR card to come in the mail?

As soon as the applicant lands, s/he can immediately get a SIN which will allow them to legally work anywhere in Canada.

Some places, like Toronto's Pearson airport, have immigration services as well as a Service Canada, where the SIN is issued on the spot.
