Do we need to submit transcript with Canadian Degree or just the Degree certificate?

In the help section it says degree, no mention of marksheet or transcipt ?

What about the same question for foreign degree for which no points are claimed because of no ECA

Transcript is perhaps the best proof of graduation. It should serve the same purpose as your diploma itself, if not better. (Heck my diploma is too large to be scanned into my normal document sized scanner)

But having read so many post about rejection due to the slightest mistake, I'd provide both diploma and transcript, just in case.

Same applies to foreign diplomas too, except its also tied to an ECA report.

Those who are in the process can correct me if I'm wrong.

Well why do they ask for degree if transcript is the best proof of graduation ?

In fact the basic page of FSW on CIC says
Education
You must have:
- a Canadian secondary (high school) or post-secondary certificate, diploma or degree, or
- an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) report from an agency approved by CIC to show your foreign education is equal to Canadian education standards.

Also on Express entry application submission page it says:
- You must provide proof that you completed your post‑secondary education, such as a diploma and/or degree.

I would include transcripts if I were you
From
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp

Proof of completed Canadian or foreign educational credentials can include copies of
secondary or post-secondary education documents (certificates, diplomas or degrees); and
transcripts for successfully completed secondary or post-secondary studies, if available.

Hi,
I have the same question.
Did you submit the transcript for your Canadian degree at the end?

Also, my highest level of education is a Canadian master's degree. Does anyone know if I need ECA for my previous degrees for which I'm not claiming points?

Thanks
