Do we need to let VO know of deferment for Jan session after getting visa?

Hi All Seniors,

I got my students visa in July end for Sept intake, but for some reasons will not be able to join in Sept. I have informed the University about it, and they say that I can join in Jan with the same offer letter as the offer letter is open for the whole year, and I can join in any session. Do I need to inform the Visa Office also? Please guide me.

is ur visa single entry or multiple entry? check ur visa validity..normally single entry visa is valid for 6 months.

It is multiple entry valid for 2 years but my course lenght is also 2 years. do u think there might be a problem if i need to renew it?

I ask need answers with respect to renewing study permit after deferring my session as my program is for 2 years. will there be problem with extension of study permit after my visa expires before my program ends due to deferment of resumption?
