Hello,

in our case, we plan on living in QC, and finally got through step 1, where we received an email from CIC saying we could proceed with the QC undertaking application.

However, I'm not sure whether I should forward the acceptation email from CIC, to the MICC myself ? From what I read, the CIC would forward the email to MICC as well, and then the MICC would also send me an email confirming it's ok to send the undertaking application, but we didn't receive anything from them... Here is in French what the undertaking checklist mentions about it:

Preuve de votre admissibilité comme parrain
• Lettre ou courriel récent de Citoyenneté et Immigration Canada contenant [...]
• Lettre ou courriel récent du ministère de l’Immigration et des Communautés culturelles vous invitant à déposer votre demande d’engagement

Should I wait longer for a message from the MICC, or is there an email address I should forward my own CIC letter to ?

Thanks !

Hey,
Yes..Indeed that's the only respond you will get from CIC regarding obtaining your CSQ.
Mail the message you received to Quebec to request your CSQ.. the sponsor should fill them and you sign along with.
What is your timeline? when did you mailed your application inland or out land ? when you received AOR and when you got the request to apply for CSQ?

yeah, but what email address I should use ?

I think I have to send the provincial package to:
Direction du courrier et de l'encaissement - Immigration familiale
285, rue Notre-Dame Ouest, 4e étage
Montréal (Québec) H2Y 1T8
CANADA

This is roughly our timeline:
-April - started to fill the CIC forms
-June 15th - send the application to CIC
-August 15th - Application approved by CIC
-August 17th - Started to fill QC forms
***No email from QC saying I should send them the undertaking app

You wont receive any email or mail from Immigration Quebec as they dnt know you.. either CIC didnt sent them anything.
You have to mail your application, which you should download from their site, along with your cic email. after month or so they will send you ur CSQ where your should mail one of them to CIC

When did you received your acknowledge of receiving your application AOR ?
most june applicants haven't received aor's. apparently cic is being sporadic with them. for most june applicants, the first time they hear from CIC is SA. from what i can tell from the timeline posted, it appears the OP JUST received SA a couple of days ago.
