Hi, from what I read I understood that we include certain info on the back of photo, put photos in envelope, write name and birth date on envelope, and STAPLE envelope to application general so that photos are not damaged. I did this way.

I found a discrepancy between instruction guide (as issued in June 2010) and VO specific instructions regarding info on the back of photos. I did both requirements: 1 photo was required in instruction guide (name, height and eye color) and 6 photos were required by VO (BUT with: name, birth date and date taken), so I supplied 7 photos for each person in the application with different info.

I also included remark on this in my cover letter.

Dont staple or paste the photos.

Follow the instructions, and put them in envelope, without damaging the photos

hi,
I also found discrepancy regarding the information required in the back of the photos by CIC and the New Delhi VO. So, i did the logical to include the information required by both CIC and New Delhi VO.

p. 24 of the instruction guide (as issued in July) states:

Staple the envelope to your application form. Be careful not to staple or bend the photos

I did it this way, however other options may be acceptable as well. I personally decided to stictly follow their requirement.
