hi...

somewhere in this forum a poster had summarised a list of things to take on 1st landing. It included a marriage certificate.

Spouse name is mentioned in the passport. do we still need a marriage certificate ....

if so for what purpose......
 
I dont think it is a requirement upon landing. But as this is legal document like birth certificate you should have it already upon landing because you may need it someday and no need for you to go back home just to get copyof your marriage certificate.
 
why not to take it with you just in case. if they don't ask for it, that's good, if they do you'll show it to them.
