For the sponsor's part of the application do we need to submit a letter that we will have a place to stay if they approve him as a sponsor?
Just wondering since my fiance' and I may not have an apartment until later in the year and I don't want them to think that the reason we are living with his parents is because he cannot financially care for me, which is not the case. It is just that certain circumstances have kept us from being able to get our own place as of right now.

I don't think you need one but you can include one. We included one from my parents saying that we'd be staying with them and they'd be willing to allow us to live with them while we got ourselves sorted out, etc after returning to Canada. In our case it was partially financial and we didn't have any problems.

Panda- you wont need to provide a letter stating you have somewhere to stay. I think you are confusing your situation with people who are currently living abroad, and will be moving to Canada, as they are required to show intent to move back and often times that results in a letter from family offering them a place to stay.

Since you are your fiance are already IN Canada, this is not something that you have to worry about... when they approve him as a sponsor, they could care less if you guys live with parents, they are more interested in verifying that you have a relationship that qualifies for sponsorship (spouse) and that he is not on social assistance.
