I am an international student enrolling in ph.d program for 4 and half years . I did not have any master degree. I really want to try FSW.

I have one university major degree in science and one minor degree in Economics from undergraduate study. In FSW education assessment, Can I count them as two university degree and claim for 22 instead of one university degree 20 .

If I get 20 , my total will be 65 :mad:out of 100 , lower than 67 pass line!
Do anyone have similar situation as me. ??? Help! Thanks for help!!!

Should I try with FSW???

No - this can only be counted as one degree.

I'm Canadian (born here) and understand how education is evaluated here. The answer is also common sense.

A minor alone cannot earn you a degree. A degree typically consists of two majors - or a major and a minor.

Here's the sure way to answer your question: Were you awarded two completely separate degrees by your university? Did you have two separate convocation ceremonies to receive these two degrees? Do you have two separate pieces of paper naming the two separate degrees you earned?

What you have earned is one undergraduate degree. Yes - that degree is made up of a major and a minor. But - it's still just one degree.

My own undergraduate degree is made up of 1 major and 2 minors. I still have only one undergraduate degree.

Ms Scylla:

I have 2 separate degrees: BSc in mechanical engg and MBA in business administration. How many points I would get? Thanks.

Since, you are in the Canadian Phd program, then trying for FSW under the PhD stream:
