Could someone please answer my question.

Do they send aor1 in email only, or also send letter in mail ?

I received in email but did not receive anything in mail, it has been 1 and half month now. I am worried that may be they sent but I didn't get.

If they send a letter as well, is it possible to confirm whether they sent letter or not.

Hi - I received an email only. It looks like the same for many other on different treads, also I noticed some people never received any communication until they called to follow-up. I mean once you can see your status on Ecas and address is update you should be fine in receiving communication.

Otherwise, no harm in calling to confirm just to be safe. Good luck!

You can only receive one or the other...depending on what you put in the application. If you provided your email in the application (which you must have done) the email it to you. If you didn't put your email...they mail it to you. But you will not receive both email AND mail.

Also, if you read the your AOR1 letter..it says you will not get a letter in the mail..this letter/email is your only confirmation. At least that's what I had...for Outland application

be aware that sometimes even though you put an email address, CIC will sometimes snailmail stuff out regardless.

People who have put email correspondence have received SA etc by regular mail instead.
