Do they ever call?

I just missed a call from Mississauga, I tried calling back but it said this subscriber is not in service. Did I miss a call from IRCC or is this some spam call that happened to spoof a number from there? I know my application was moved to New York, but don't know if there's a reason I might receive a call from elsewhere where IRCC operates.

I know sometimes they will call the inland applicants to know if they are in Canada.

Ah. Yea, I'm an outland applicant, and in the states.

Well, this is probably outdated information (7 years ago.. may be) but they called us to ask for some information for medical exam extension.
I missed the call and they ended up contacting our respresentation and send a request instead of the call.
We got medical extended with no issue. (The form was just about where (what country) PA had been to since his last medical)

I’ve had three calls from Ottawa in the past day. It came up “No caller ID”. She also left a voicemail.
