Hello,

I have been living in Canada since 2010 as a graduate student, and just completed my 2 years of PhD studies.

Do I still need to provide proof of funds for my FSW application?

You are exempt from proof of funds if you have a job offer in Canada:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

Thank you for the reply, but the CIC guide makes it seem that any job offer has to be permanent and full-time. I have a job as a graduate student, but that is only for the next 2-3 years and it not full-time paid work.

So, will I still have to show proof of funds?
